What a way to celebrate Cedarburg Art Museum’s 10th Anniversary with the 10th year of Main Street Art Camp! Main Street Art Camp is designed as a way to bring families to downtown Cedarburg for an art-filled experience! In each age group session, children can use their creative licenses to create various art projects surrounding the Museum itself! The museum’s goal is to create an environment where children come and learn to love museums and art and not be intimidated. Each week there will be a different theme celebrating the Cedarburg Art Museum. Held in our courtyard, children will be encouraged to walk through the Museum and sculpture garden to get ideas for their crafts. Come and celebrate the 10th anniversary by “Creating Artistic Masterpieces” of your own!

We are so excited for Main Street Art Camp!
Weekly themes will reflect the Museum’s architecture, current exhibitions, and origins of Wisconsin Art. Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Cedarburg Art Museum, children will be encouraged to explore the featured artists of Wisconsin as we study their work and create our own art through creative expression.
Important to note: Children ages 3-5, Artists in Exploration, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is not a requirement for children aged 6-11 but we encourage guardians to enjoy the museum and all that downtown Cedarburg has to offer.
We offer a range of sessions that include a variety of ages. We invite all skill levels and abilities!
Artists in Exploration
9 to 10:30 AM
Encouraging children (recommended) ages 3 to 5 years old to work from their imaginations with their hands to create wonderful masterpieces of their own with guidance from volunteers. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children will engage in the basics of art, such as line, color, and shape while discovering their creative side through a variety of crafts!
Setting Forth Artists
11 AM to 12:30 PM
Children (recommended) ages 6 to 8 years old will investigate various mediums creating their own style and setting forth their artistic imagination. Either on their own or with guidance, they will find their artistry. They explore ways of self-expression while learning how to develop the basics of art.
Immersed Artists
1 to 2:30 PM
Children (recommended) ages 9 to 11 years old will be able to dive into detailed crafts creating their own masterpieces. While working independently, they will experience art focusing on applying knowledge of learned artistic elements. This prepares children for our High School Sketch Program (ages 12 to 18)!

CAM Members at the Family Level or above will receive a 10% discount
